Sustainable browser

Inspiration

I saw how slow websites were really when I tried making my own a while ago. So if we make it use less network it would be more sustainable.

What it does

Makes the browser more sustainable by lowering image quality, disabling autplay, stopping embeds for youtube, and stopping fonts.

How we built it

using Javascript and the chrome api

Challenges we ran into

updating the users preference in the settings. The documentation was confusing for chrome extensions.
