Inspiration
Concrete is not an environmentally friendly material, Can we build our houses using local earth materials? To build with clay, a costume g-Code needs to be created. The idea is to give the end user the flexibility to upload their nominated design, and choose type of material.
What it does
The geometry uploaded into the system is sliced on the back-end. The result and the tool-path is displayed on the web to the user, also other calculation such as time of the print, amount of the material and total cost of the print is calculated and shown to the user
How I built it
using Web-browser, user uploads STL file. The file is sliced in the back-end using grasshopper or rhino compute, then the result is shown and animated on the web and the result of the analysis is shown to the customer, using speckle 3D viewer.
Challenges I ran into
Running grasshopper on the back end

What's next for Sustainable 3D Printing - On the web
To be expanded and run another type of analysis on the provided STL file, such as structural analysis
