What inspired me the most in this project was the idea of solving a real world problem. Sure, our project is nowhere near perfect and we sure weren't the strongest team but with this project, I learnt how things work- it was our entire group's first hackathon, first time using vs-code. We just coded some at school and learnt a few things here and there- with the help of Gemini and Claude. We made sure the project that we built aligned with the idea of energy distribution. It was tiring and by the time it was evening, we were jam-packing ourselves into trying to finish our project but we ultimately realized the goal of this hackathon was to understand how an automated system works and just how to use the platforms. The challenges we faced were kinda countless-from 9 AM in the morning getting on the calls on time- realizing there was 10 minute delay and breathing a sigh of relief since one of our partners wasnt online yet- downloading vs-code and refreshing ourselves on IST(python). It was a whole bunch of work to be honest and we weren't expecting it to be that hard. The competition is crazy out there. Well we liked the prompt and AI, Automation, & Logic track was the one that best fit our interests since we wanted to explore coding with the background of AI.
