Inspiration
Through KatyYouthHacks, I have thought about Building a sustainable future and cultivating sustainable ways of living that will reduce pollution and protect the habitats of plants and animals1. By embracing sustainability, we can maintain our quality of life as human beings, the diversity of life on Earth, and Earth’s ecosystems
What it does
The project aims to examine contamination levels in waste streams, identify areas for improvement, and implement new waste sorting practices to increase recycling and composting rates
How I built it
To build a website, I use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Together, these three languages allow me to create a fully functional and visually appealing website that can be accessed by users on the internet
Challenges I ran into
Incorporating the game component into my project proved to be a difficult task. Additionally, the limited time available for an individual project presented a challenge, but it was an enjoyable one that helped me grow stronger.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I finally can make it done on time. The slides and webpage may not be as cool as I expected( lack of features due to time-limited), but I am so proud of it because It is my first hackathon project that I am able to finish.
What I learned
I understand more about Javascript while working on it.
