v1.3.7 is live - a third language, and an emergency profile that works on paper

French. The whole app now speaks French alongside German and English - all 471 articles, every first-aid procedure, the entire interface. 35,143 content fields, checked against a random sample: zero dangerous errors.

The emergency profile became useful. It used to be a form you filled in and nobody could read - iOS gives third-party apps no place on the lock screen. It now leads with the printed wallet card (credit-card sized, print and cut) and carries a step-by-step guide to Apple's Medical ID, which paramedics can read on a locked phone. Being honest about what the app cannot do turned out to be the feature.

Messaging with no network at all. The encrypted chat between nearby devices now runs over Bluetooth LE - no Wi-Fi network needed, no internet, no account.

Position beacon. Records your position at an interval you choose, now also with the screen locked, and shares your last position or the whole track.

SOS, first aid and emergency numbers stay free forever.
