Surviving Wonderland Inspo

Our project is an Alice in Wonderland Choose-Your-Adventure game. We based the characters and plot of our project on the original Alice in Wonderland book to create a survival game. There are many different paths to choose, but the final winning ending is making it to the MAD HATTER’s Tea Party. We used the knowledge we learned from the Python Basics and Applications of Python workshops to make this project. We were inspired by the Alice in Wonderland theme and various elements of Technica. We used the decorations throughout the building as inspiration for the dialogue.

Surviving Wonderland coding and creation experience

We came up with dialogue options for the game and used if-else statements in the program to execute that. In the process, we ran into multiple syntax errors and logic errors since it’s our first time using Python. We’re proud that we’re able to finish the program and present it to you all due to our lack of experience in Python. We learned how to use Python and to work together as a team to complete this project. If we had more time, we would find a way to use images throughout this adventure.
