First off, my idea was to create a videogame that teached people the best way to protect themselves from coronavirus.

What it does

It's a game where you have to avoid coronavirus particles

How I built it

I built it using a programming language called lua and a game engine called love2d.

Challenges I ran into

One of the challenges I ran into was a bug that I wasn't able to fix for around 6 hours, it caused me to get delayed on my work, and to have to reduce the amount of game mechanics I was going to implement. Originally my game would start with 1 infected person and all the others not infected, the others would get infected if they collided with an infected person, making the game harder as time passes, but due to the bug, I wasn't able to include that in the end.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Im proud that I was able to build a game like this, even though it was kind of small, in only 2 days.

What I learned

I learned about a few techniques with lua and I also learned a few things about google cloud after going to its workshop.

What's next for Survive Coronavirus

Hopefully I'll be able to completely finish the game, with all the ideas I had in mind from the beggining.
