Inspiration

We all thought it'd be fun to build, so we went for it!

What it does

Authenticates a user through facial recognition, then allows the user to respond to survey questions with a facial expression instead of the standard form. We think this is a handy and fun alternative.

How we built it

Much blood, sweat, and tears.

Challenges we ran into

The TrueFace API doesn't behave the way we thought it would Integration took longer than anticipated, partly due to team members having differing environments. We eventually got it deployable.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The team collaborated well and built a pretty cool prototype. We also learned a lot from each other--tools, APIs, techniques, etc.

Communication is really important for building projects with others A bit of planning and prioritization pays off

What's next for Survey my True Face

Sleep. Shoot for another perfect hackathon submission another day.
