SureLock

Inspiration

We desperately needed a security app when we are away from our computes, because people just can't stay away from others' personal machines!!

What it does

It detects any other people using the machine and saves screenshots and pictures of the criminal.

How I built it

We used C# as a language for the back-end development, and python for the front-end. The C#-framework manages to communicate with other python back-end apps like a 'face-recognizer' and a 'face-detector'.

Challenges I ran into

Using OpenCV for a face-recognition. Most of the times, accuracy was our biggest issue.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We were able to create an app that can recognize different people's faces.

What I learned

Cooperation is the most valuable resource.

What's next for SureLock

We look forward to make this a multi-platform app.
