Inspiration

Since the theme was communication, I thought of apps like Google Translate since people use it to translate their sentences into another language and send it to their non-English friends during a conversation. Then I thought, what if I did that but for other unused languages like Morse code or binary? So I did just that!

What it does

The program mainly translates languages that aren't used often, like Base64.

How I built it

I again used Replit with my classic programming language (wink wink) of choice, Python.

Challenges we ran into

Initially, I tried making dictionaries for specific translations, like English to Morse code. Then, I made lists for almost all languages instead, making things way easier.

What's next for Suprose

I might add a learning feature to teach the user the language, similar to Duolingo, at a later date. Knowing me though, that probably won't happen. I will, however, add Base64 in the future, as well as more language

Helpful Sources

I used help from GeeksforGeeks, W3 Schools, YouTube, and of course, Steel City Codes.
