Inspiration

When Kenyan Athletes run in international marathon, millions of us Kenyans tune in and cheer in, every second of the marathon, even the 2hr+ ones. What would be more uniting than having a filter that shows support to our atheletes, which can bring together friends and fellow countrymen into the experience and cheering?

What it does

The product paints the Kenyan flag colors in faces. This

How I built it

I used SparkAR and resources available for free on the web

Challenges I ran into

I was unable to use a background segmentation and facetrack at once. The Facemesh appeared behind the layer front layer that I was using

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Entering the competition late and learning so much about sparkar as well as having fun with it

What I learned

I learnt how to use SparkAR and facetracking

What's next for Supporting Kenyan Marathoners

Adding objects that users can interact with. Like bowls of popcorn and vuvuzelas (cheering horns)
