What Inspired Support

Everyone understood that artificial intelligence produces a qualitative and quantitative leap in human productivity. What has not happened yet is the transfer of this conceptual reality into the practical lives of lower-income societies. Support was built to correct this.

I am Eleandro Rodrigues, an independent researcher from Conciolândia, Pérola d'Oeste, Paraná, Brazil. I have no formal technical education. I built Support because I know what it means to have a dream and no one in your corner. Not because you lack capacity. Because the system was never built for you.

What Support Does

Support is not a credit app. It is a complete economic emancipation system powered by the Gemini API. The journey begins with a conversation and ends with a functioning business, a trained person, and a stronger community.

The Seven Stages

Stage 1 — Know the Person, Not the Risk The Gemini agent conducts as many conversational sessions as needed, at the user's own pace, by voice or text in plain language. No form. No deadline. No judgment. The system builds a real human profile over days or weeks before anything else.

Stage 2 — Market Intelligence That Only the Rich Had Before Support maps the real territory of the intended business using Google Maps for competitor density, Google Trends for seasonality, IBGE public data for local income profiles, and real-time supplier pricing. A market analysis that a consulting firm would charge thousands of dollars for, delivered in minutes, in accessible language.

Stage 3 — Personalized Education and Training Support identifies specific knowledge gaps for that business and that person, and links the user to free courses already available on public platforms: SENAI, SENAC, SEBRAE EAD, municipal and state training programs, and curated open content. The learning path is not generic. It evolves with each stage of the business.

Stage 4 — Real Viability Assessment Support evaluates whether the intended path can actually work. It does not approve or reject the person. It approves or redirects the path. If the business is not viable, Support presents concrete alternatives: a different business better suited to the local market, a smaller starting version, or employment opportunities matched to the user's profile through public databases including SINE and municipal employment programs.

Stage 5 — The Partner That Never Leaves After the business starts, Support stays as an active partner: alerting when input costs rise and suggesting alternatives, warning about approaching seasonality, helping with pricing, reminding about supplier obligations, celebrating every milestone, and presenting the next step when the business stabilizes.

Stage 6 — Progressive Human Intervention Protocol When the system detects signs of difficulty, it intervenes progressively: three personalized attempts by the agent, then automatic notification to the registered human support network (CRAS, municipal social services, partner NGOs) with a complete user dossier. If recovery is not possible, Support closes the cycle and sends a restart report, not a rejection notice.

Stage 7 — The Service Network the Informal Market Never Had Support connects unmet local service demand with capable people who cannot find customers. The trained domestic worker finds clients within two kilometers. The electrician receives neighborhood service requests. The food vendor finds local events that need suppliers. The effect is geometric: each user who progresses strengthens the network of all others.

Impact Across All Five Competition Categories Simultaneously

Support was submitted under Entrepreneurship and Job Creation, but its architecture produces measurable impact across all five categories at once:

  • Entrepreneurship & Job Creation: each approved user is an entrepreneur created from zero or a job generated
  • Education & Human Potential: personalized learning path linked to free existing courses transforms every journey into continuous skill development
  • Money & Financial Access: when credit is needed, real viability assessment and continuous monitoring structurally reduce default rates
  • Small Business Services: the permanent agent delivers pricing, supply management, seasonality alerts, and expansion planning in accessible language at no cost
  • Professional Services Access: market analysis, financial simulation, and growth strategy — services that consultants charge by the hour — delivered free to every user

Support does not solve one problem in one category. It solves the systemic exclusion that produces all five problems at once.

How I Built It

Support is built entirely on Google infrastructure:

  • Gemini API: all conversational sessions, profile building, market analysis, viability assessment, education curation, and intervention protocols
  • Firebase (Google Cloud): user authentication, profile storage, and journey history
  • Google Maps Platform: competitor mapping and mobility data
  • Google Sheets and Forms: operational data flows and onboarding
  • Make (Integromat): automation of intervention triggers and social service notifications
  • Public APIs: SINE, IBGE, and government employment databases

The entire operation runs through AI agents continuously, without human intervention until Level 2 of the intervention protocol.

What I Learned

I learned that the hardest problem is not technical. It is trust. Lower-income users have been failed by systems so many times that building a product that genuinely stays requires designing every interaction as if the user is testing whether you will abandon them. Support is designed to never abandon anyone.

Challenges

Building alone, without a technical team, without investment, from a small town in the interior of Paraná, Brazil. The challenge was not the tools — Google's infrastructure made the tools accessible. The challenge was proving that someone with no formal education, no engineering background, and no startup ecosystem around them can still build something that matters.

If Support wins, it will not just validate the product. It will validate the principle: that the leap AI promised for human productivity can reach the people who need it most.
