Inspiration

A lot of products are expired even before they are shipped to the wholesalers, which has caused a lot of unnecessary wastes.

What it does

We use the existing data to predict the future purchase time and types so that the supply chain can be better formed, which will lead to a less waste and more effective way to communicate between company and wholesalers.

How we built it

We built it using python and google’s colab. It uses a neural network to predict the outcome.

Challenges we ran into

We found out that our model’s prediction is not very precise for large quantities.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our group members are all U0 and U1 students and this is our first time working with AI/ML.

What we learned

We learned the basic of machine learning which enable us to create our first model

What's next for Supply Chain

We will continue working on our project so that the prediction for large quantities will be more precise.
