Inspiration

"Supernova" is a song from my conceptual album "Light & Shadow" – a musical journey about inner healing.
The story behind the song is based on a simple truth:

When we no longer fight our darkness, the light inside us becomes stronger. My song is already released and can be listened to on all streamingplatforms.

In this video, two characters represent this duality:

  • Etheriel – the embodiment of Light, purity and clarity
  • Veyr – the embodiment of Shadow, the hidden and suppressed self

Instead of fighting, they merge into harmony – visually, vocally and symbolically.
The result: a Supernova – the moment when inner resistance collapses into freedom.

What it is

A fully AI-assisted animated music video with original song, visuals, voice acting and storytelling.
Created entirely after February 2025, now released as submission to the Chroma Awards 2025.

  • Script, storyboard and lyrics written by me
  • All visuals animated scene-by-scene using KlingAI
  • Song was made with my own lyrics and with Suno
  • Video editing, transitions, effects and compositing in CapCut
  • Final mastering optimized for streaming platforms and cinematic playback

No stock footage, no AI templates, no pre-made characters – both Etheriel and Veyr are original characters from my musical universe.

Challenges

The biggest challenge was making AI-generated animation feel alive – not robotic.
I had to manually refine movements, timing, breath, emotion and sync, especially because both characters sing together, with different energies.

What I learned

That AI is not replacing human creativity – it amplifies it.
The soul of this piece is not the tool, but the message:
Shadow is not the enemy. Without it, there would be no light.
