Inspiration
I wanted to create something that would make it easier for organisations as dog shelters to run their administration so that they will have more time to focus on care for the dogs.
What it does
The match maker helps potential new owners to find dogs that match their personal situation and preferences. It sets up appointments for the potential new owners to meet the dogs and it helps them with information about dog care and training.
How we built it
I have used a custom object to register the dogs, a digital experience site to expose the agent, a few custom flows/agent actions, and a data library to provide the agent with the necessary instructions.
Challenges we ran into
I wanted to add a profile photo of the dogs so that the match maker could show photo's of the dogs to the potential new owners. While the agent is able to show these photos from within salesforce, I was not yet able to set this up via the digital experience site.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The agent is able to answer questions based on knowledge and is able to match dogs to the personal situation of the person asking the questions.
What we learned
It is very important to use guardrails and to provide the agent with the correct permissions.
What's next for PawMatchmaker Agent
Adding more functionality for the adoption process. Showing photos in the digital experience site.
