I like to play super smash bros but never choose the random option because it contained too many unfamiliar characters or archetypes that I don't pair well with

What it does

It's a website that separates the characters into their respective tiers and gives you a random character in that tier when an image is clicked on

How I built it

I assigned variables to every single picture of each character in a game. Using a function that creates an array for each tier, and puts the character variables into their respective tier arrays. Using the methods math.floor() and math.random() I made a variable that represents a random index in a tier array. The function would then replace the old image with the new random image of a playable character.

Challenges I ran into

The background of the website repeats itself whenever I zoom out and my function didn't work due to syntax errors.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

There are none, a solved a small problems with 6-7 hours of web design and coding.

What I learned

I learned how to make functions in java script and more css to design the background of a website

What's next for Super Smash Bros Ultimate Optimized Random Button

Add more categories to choose from and buttons near the top of the website that would bookmark certain categories to allow the user to quickly reach the category they're looking for.
