Inspiration

We noticed that online communities were increasingly shaped by algorithms, ads, and noise. We wanted to build a space where authentic clubs can thrive — with real people, shared interests, and zero distractions.

What it does

SupaClubs lets anyone start, manage, and monetize a micro-community in minutes. Think of it as a lightweight platform where users can:

All wrapped in a mobile-first, PWA experience.

🤖 AI-Powered Club Intelligence

SupaClubs uses AI to help club creators:

• Identify the best times to post updates or host live sessions
• Suggest ideal meetup timings based on global member time zones
• Recommend event formats and engagement tactics tailored to the club’s audience
• Provide real-time insights into member retention, interaction, and growth opportunities

💸 Monetization Built-In

Clubs can also earn by:

• Selling sponsorship spots on their club pages
  
• Featuring sponsors during online events and offline meetups
• Accessing upcoming tools on SupaClubs.com to manage sponsorship deals with ease

How we built it

• Frontend: React + Vite + TailwindCSS + Framer Motion
• Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL + Auth + Storage + RLS)
• Infra: Edge-ready PWA with service worker + web manifest
• Design System: Custom UI with Lucide icons and modular components
• Auth: Supabase magic links + context-based protected routes
• Payments: Stripe-ready user schema with role-based payouts

Challenges we ran into

• Crafting the right Supabase schema with scalable RLS policies
• Getting PWA install flow to work smoothly across devices
• Designing a flexible user + club model with monetization in mind
