The idea was in my mind for a couple of years but was a bit skeptical to kickstart as I had limited software\programming knowledge (just being a fresh Civil Engineering graduate). But recently, when I realized an integration could save a lot of time freeing up and find the "Me Time", have started this journey through APIs giving different dimensions of achieving that use case and planned to extend to what is being envisioned (Please refer to What's next section)

What it does

The collection of APIs that can be consumed by Engineers who have hard (and sometimes no) time to navigate across various applications, pages, links, tools used in their organization to carry out their daily day-to-day work. In short, your multi-tasking is just few clicks away in performing those with a principle of low-code or no-code.

How we built it

As of now, just created the collections of APIs by looking through the API documentation of the integrated applications.

Challenges we ran into

  1. What to present as part of this hackathon as I had a humongous of ideas flowing in.
  2. Implementing JS and HTML. I searched quite a lot online and interestingly, had to use one of the collections (Open AI GPT3) to look for syntaxes.
  3. Minor challenges with the Postman applications i.e navigating across features and had my desktop Postman app crashed twice due to a huge list of environment variables.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Happy that I started my journey on what I envisioned and learnt a lot in a short span of time.

What I learned

The fundamentals of HTML, JS. Different dimensions of APIs through the web driver, advanced Postman features like Visualizers, and its capabilities.

What's next for sup-porter-bot

While creating these integrations, there were quite a lot of ideas striking my brain to build this as a product (e.g: setting up as a windows service or a process running in the machine) and extend this as a Voice Assisted Programming Interface instead of typing the text and also focussing mainly on the extended capabilities of Open AI APIs.
