Sunrise Portfolio & NFTs

Inspiration

I have been a crypto investor since Feb 21. During the bullrun, a crazy amount of people wanted to invest in crypto and all they could do is go to a CEX and invest their money and keep their coins there. Metamask and Decentralized economy can be too complex for the general population as of now.

Along with this, with current events like FTx's collapse, I feel like there should be more tools to onboard users to Dapps intead of CEXs.

That is why I have created Sunrise Portfolio & NFTs.

What it does

My web3 project helps people use metamask and nfts easily. This project makes it easy for people to buy, sell, and use nfts. Ialso provide an easy too to view the assets in your metamask as metamask requires you to add contract address for each asset you buy, this is available for many EVM chains.

How we built it

The project is built using Javascript, NEXTJS, Ethers, Hardhat and solidity

Challenges we ran into

Upload data to IPFS was challengin for me. I hadn't done that before.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to create a marketplace and mint NFTs on chain while uploading data to IPFS. Being able to pull all coins in wallet on most EVM chains.

What we learned

I learnt how to use IPFS and some intricacies of async await which i wasn't aware of before.

What's next for Sunrise Portfolio & NFTs

The ability to create your own collections and wider array of portfolio management tools.
