Inspiration

The inspiration behind this project was formed when our team thought, of school stress. There are benefits and drawbacks to attending extremely famous universities as a student. Thus, we came up with the idea for a platform that illuminates youth and students and serves as a warm companion for the user.

What it does

Sunrise is a mobile platform designed to promote mental well-being and emotional support for youths in schools and colleges. It aims to be a positive and proactive companion in their fast-paced lives, offering a safe space to connect, reflect, and find encouragement. Key Features: Daily check-ins: Monitor your mood and track your progress. Support groups: Connect with peers facing similar challenges and offer mutual encouragement. Motivational notifications: Receive uplifting messages and reminders throughout the day. Introspective prompts: Spark self-reflection and emotional awareness through daily prompts. Buddy system: Find a supportive peer to connect with and build a sense of community.

How we built it

We first designed it in figma, then one of the team members worked on the app logics, another worked on the backend and AI intergration.

We were able to come up with an amazing user interface and user experience, we also were able to learn different things during development and with a deadline looming over our heads we had to up our work rate.
