Without intelligent tools, centers often miss opportunities to safely open new spots, leaving working parents stranded on long waitlists. We were inspired to build an operational intelligence for childcare, turning messy logistics into proactive, data-driven decisions.

What it does

Predicts Capacity & Revenue: Analyzes real-time waitlists, staff pay rates, and classroom constraints to forecast center financial health.

Automates Decisions: Converts complex operational variables into single-click action steps (e.g., Hire 1 teacher --> open 4 infant spots --> add $+\$3,200$/mo profit).

Centralizes Provider Workspace: Manages real-time room compliance, staff certifications, workforce readiness, and family waitlist transparency.

How we built it

Smart Decision Engine: Built an automated data processing pipeline that combines classroom rosters, legal safety ratios, and waitlist demographics.

Interactive Dashboards: Developed a structured provider workspace to track total enrollment, staff counts, and age-group revenue breakdowns at a glance.

Scenario Modeling: Programmed simulation logic to test room setups, teacher costs, and maximum capacity limits safely.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing Strict Compliance: Factoring in dynamic legal ratios (like infant vs. Pre-H room limits) alongside fluid staff scheduling and hiring costs was complex.
