Inspiration

Nigeria has one of the largest energy access gaps in the world, and solar mini-grids are closing it village by village. But operators struggle to prove the clean energy they generate to funders and corporate buyers. Paper renewable certificates are slow, opaque and easy to double count, and meter data can be faked. Clean energy that can't be proven can't be paid for.

What it does

SunLedger turns raw solar meter data into tamper-proof, one-time-claimable renewable energy certificates (RECs):

1. Verify: an AI model checks hourly meter readings against a physics-based expectation from solar irradiance and flags anomalies (night-time generation, impossible spikes), backed by an IsolationForest. Each batch gets an anomaly score (0-100) and a SHA-256 data hash.
2. Mint: an oracle submits the verified batch on-chain. The Sun
