Title of the Project:
Job App
About: This is a web application which helps low skilled labour find a job. There are two stake holders in this system namely customer and a service provider. Customer is anyone who needs to get a work done. A service provider is someone who can do the work for the customer. The work can be anything from fixing a broken car to delivering goods across the states. This system is beneficial for both customer and service provider and hence its a win win situation.
How is it beneficial to customer? We have bidding system for each advertisement for work. Because of this, service providers compete with each other and customers are ensured a minimum price for their work.
How is it beneficial to Service providers? Since this application provides an online platform, there are no restriction on choosing the work only in ones locality. This also promotes gaining multiple skills and a good job prospectus.
What is new in this system? While there are applications providing same facility, they are less transperent and money oriented. The communication in routed through the application and Customer and service provider seldom get a chance to interact with each other before the service is delivered. We are more focussed on service providers than the customers and thats why this application has full transperency. The objective of this application is to promote jobs and skill development for low skilled labour.
