Inspiration
Our personal anecdotes about our mental health in the fall and it could be a symptom of vitamin D deficiency.
What it does
Scans the user to determine the amount of vitamin D in the system. If insufficient, notifies the user of their current vitamin D level and outputs a lightweight serum onto the skin to absorb. When sufficient, sends a confirmation to the user's app.
How we built it
We created a pseudo code to make a basic scanner for vitamin D intake values and created an ideal threshold for different demographics to cater to specific users.
Challenges we ran into
We had a small issue with existing products and overall need for the product.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating a well rounded product with lack of discontinuity. In addition to learning more about vitamin D and how important it is for people to have.
What we learned
We learnt about vitamin D, its properties and importance in the body. In addition to working together as a team using our strengths :)
What's next for Sunflower
Being able to learn more tools and information to excel in our future career paths!
