Inspiration

We wanted to help the homeless and people with extremely limited access to electricity.

What it does

Our product uses solar power to harness electricity and charge a portable battery pack for later use.

How we built it

We cut a USB cable and used the positive and ground wires to connect the battery pack to the solar panels.

Challenges we ran into

We cut the wrong end of the wire and we had to find new wires to redo the entire project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We have the basis for something that could potentially be huge and have a great impact in developing regions of the world.

What we learned

We learned a lot about solar power and how most things can be replaced by it.

What's next for Sunergy

We created the basis, and we could potentially create a larger business out of this and help underdeveloped regions.
