Sundown Superman

Inspiration

As a caregiver, I understand the challenges faced by those volunteering to keep a loved one safe. The community of caregivers does not seem to be highly structured. Most connections among caregivers appear to be based around the common usage of shared services, or extended familial relations.

What it does

Create a dynamic trust network among caregivers. Allow for shared responsibility and trusted transferral of responsibility. Enable task completion in adverse situations. Provide incentives for good behavior and disincentives for bad behavior.

How I built it

Data from NYC Open Data, infrastructure and application services from IBM Cloud, path traversal capabilities from ArcGIS & pygraph library, application infrastructure from Django

Lack of data about specific at risk population demographics, limited progress in feature implementation
