The component extension itself

We responded to Data_Dave's challenge to build an extension that allows community input to affect the experience of the game so we built

Summon TV

Wolves, Zombies, Storms, and more! Once your users throw enough Bits, experience the love or wrath of your viewers!

Summon TV interfaces with the game itself to drop, spawn, teleport, or transmogrify elements based on the whims of the crowd.

We're really proud of being able to connect an extension all the way through a mod and back into the game server.

Based on streamer interest, we'd like to finish this out and see some streamers get hounded by wolves or have their weather instantly cleared up out there in "the real world".

I worked on the backend and infrastructure, setting up the EC2 host and the craftbukkit Minecraft server. I also contributed to the custom websocket plugin and API.
