Summits is a decentral app. It consists of solidity contracts and a web UI.

Summits' vision is to enable people to do work that

• they love
• is meaningful for the community

This is achieved by making transparent the dependencies of projects as a network. Everyone can create nodes that represent projects or goals in this network and create flows from other nodes that contribute to it.

This makes it very easy for people to explore and find out "how can I help?" once they have identified a big goal that they would like to contribute to.

bonding curves

Summits experiments with an new way of investment. For every project that is created on chain, a distinct ERC20 token is created that can be bought off a bonding curve. Usually people who initiate a project believe in their idea and deposit an initial funding with their project creation. After a while, if other people find their work useful or if other projects start depending on it, maybe (this is where it's experimental) others will invest in this project driving the value of the token up. The founder of the project and early investors can then sell some of their tokens for a better price and make a profit.
