Inspiration

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many trips were cancelled! Therefore, in order to allow people to enjoy that part of their summer, we created an interactive website that takes you to those places--virtually! Using 360 degree video, it looks and sounds like the real thing!

What's next for Summer Travels

Next for Summer Travels is to find more fitting scenes, along with a more comprehensive website to allow users to more easily access and store the 360 videos of Summer Travels. We also hope to work with a 360 camera company such as GoPro, so that we can further expand the experience per person and enjoy moments while quarantined at home.

Did research on implementation issues of the 360 player and passed along the findings to the team.

I worked on collecting data and editing the videos. I also created a mock-up example of the project idea using Gimp and a HTML/CSS version of the landing page from scratch.
