Inspiration
Political discussion in Konskie village, which kind of caused a flood of content on X, which pushed us to thinking about restricting this phenomenon.
What it does
Filters out unwanted social media posts, creates summaries for batches of posts and creates a fact checking measurement for the batches, which is supposed the quality of user's feed
How we built it
It was built during Hacknarok 2025 using Python, Svelte, React, Tailwind, Shadcn and is contenerized
Challenges we ran into
Lack of sleep ;), apart from that some minor code challenges, but nothing too serious
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Creating more functionalities than we originally planned
What we learned
vibe coding skills ;), a bit more about docker compose.
What's next for SummaRizze
1) Expansion to Other Forms of Content We're moving beyond just text. Soon, SummaRizze will support images and videos, allowing users to quickly summarize visual content like YouTube videos, infographics, and text embedded in photos.
2) Comment and Discussion Analysis Comments and discussions are often rich with insight, diverse opinions, and community sentiment. We plan to introduce features that analyze and summarize comment sections, helping users grasp the key points and perspectives without having to scroll endlessly.
3) Extending Existing Functionalities We're constantly refining and expanding what SummaRizze can do. Expect improvements to current features like summarization accuracy, tone analysis, keyword extraction, and support for more content sources.
4) Support for Additional Social Media Platforms Our next step is to integrate SummaRizze with other major platforms such as Threads, Reddit, and LinkedIn — enabling summaries across the most popular online spaces where conversations are happening.
