There is a large disparity in the quality of education across school in Pakistan. After school tuition is such a fundamentally ingrained part of the education system in many parts of the world, including South Asia, East Asia, the Middle East - Pakistan is no exception! Tuition is one of the largest expenditures in education. What if we can reinvent the tuition model to become more student centered learning?

Let's take tuition and turn it into a driving educational force - not a bandaid solution to memorize material.

We're creating an online after school coaching hub called Sumjay (beta) version. The focus will be on pedagogy that promotes student centered learning and building community among students themselves. More than just a take on Khan Academy - our video tutorials and resources will allow students to more deeply interact with material and each other learners during lessons.

We are proposing a business model that provides affordable accessibility to high quality, interactive, and collaborative educational content that is tailored to the Pakistani curriculum.

Looking at the traditional approach of education, and exposing the flaws in that, since students are not understanding the topic, but rather taking a memorization approach. Individuals will be able to learn at their own pace, with content recommendations based on the students project participation and online testing evaluations.

Using the OpenEdx platform which is built off the Django Python code we will be uploading a sample video lecture that incorporates our interactive methodology with our students.

We will be targeting students that are already enrolled in school. Services will be available to everyone who has a willingness to learn. However, our key target market is for those students that currently pay high tuition fees for extra after school tutoring.
