About
Diabetics have a difficult time keeping track of their ever-fluctuating blood sugar levels. Our application aims to simplify this process for our users. Using this application, users will be able to search foods they have eaten and input insulin doses taken, giving the application the means to calculate blood sugar levels, and even predict future ones.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We have succeeded in building a framework upon which users can start managing their blood sugar. A searchable database of foods provides an easy starting point for users to gather the information needed to lead a healthier lifestyle. Notifications are displayed to help users when they forget to take a dose, or don't realize they need one.
What's next for Sugar Nanny
We plan to improve the application by further researching diabetes calculations, and incorporating as much customization as possible to better assist our users. By training neural networks, or other machine learning structures, we can provide predictive glucose monitoring, giving users ease-of-mind.
