Inspiration

Honey. Honey was our original inspiration. We were fascinated by the fact that honey could make money by saving others money.

What it does

Our App uses an Algorithm to sort prices from least to greatest. It uses information by way of an API and or user test data. Its still in a very primitive version and not all features are present.

How we built it

We build it using a combination of vscode and cloud 9. We had people work on the UI while others developed the algorithm. In the end, we re-platformed to cloud 9 with a new server approach.

Challenges we ran into

The sorting of data and UI spacing were two major problems.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our simple but clean UI and the work it took to make.

What we learned

two of our members came here knowing little to nothing about programming but left with the knowledge to build their own websites.

What's next for Sugar

We plan to keep going with this idea, and improve who knows eventually make it into a real company.
