🌟 Inspiration

Every year, billions are poured into poverty alleviation—but the real tragedy? Most subsidies never reach the people they’re meant for. Why? Because the platforms are confusing, inaccessible, and buried in bureaucracy.

“Subsidy Scanner: Where help finds you.”

I built Subsidy Scanner to flip the script. Not just another app—but a bridge between policy and people. A tool that says: you deserve help, and here’s how to claim it—fast, simple, and smart.

Subsidy Scanner is a web app that:

🔍 Checks eligibility for subsidies using region, income, and household size 📋 Displays simplified, tailored subsidy info 📋 Filters results by category (e.g. healthcare, education) 🧾 Check if you are eligible or not 📘 Includes a “How to Apply” and FAQ section 🧠 Features an AI helper(chatbot) for 24/7 guidance 🌐 Built in Oct 2025 using Bolt.new, Groq API, and Copilot—optimized for low-bandwidth users

🛠️ How We Built It

Frontend: HTML, CSS, JS—optimized for clarity and speed
Backend: Mock JSON datasets simulating real subsidy data
Logic Engine: Custom eligibility filters and claim generators
AI Support: Copilot + Groq API for smart guidance and UX polish
Rapid Prototyping: Built on Bolt.new for speed and flexibility
