Inspiration
Our leading inspiration for this project came from the Capital One’s Streaming Subscription Management Challenge
What it does
Tracks and manages all information related to subscriptions that have active billing cycles. Notifies user when a subscription that is active, has been idle for over 3 months. Ability to link account with Capital One account for ease of access.
How we built it
We used html, css, and javascript to build the foundations for this project.
Challenges we ran into
Implementing a thorough database to store user information for later use. Introducing a proper login system that verifies emails and passwords correctly. Using an API to establish a connection to a reliable backend application.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the fact that we created this service completely from scratch, using languages that we had never been exposed to before. We are also proud of the design, structure, and expected functionality of the overall website.
What we learned
We learned a great amount about html, css, and javascript. We also learned the foundations of web design and gained valuable experience working as a team.
What's next for SubScribe
To continue to improve/implement functionality to our website and implement the database and backend that were previously mentioned.
