Inspiration
Inspired by games such as Human Resource Machine and Zachtronics, and our general love of Assembly and Lisp, we wanted to create a game where you use a minimal set of primitives and create your own tools from the ground-up.
What it does
Explore a story-driven game with challenging cipher-based puzzles. Featuring a completely custom drag-and-drop assembly-like interface with support for creating arbitrary procedures to build up your own library of tools.
How we built it

Some quotes from the story
Lawson Commons buzzed with Amazon, Meta, and, for the insufferably ambitious: “unemployment in San Francisco.”
It feels like WeWork has risen again from the dead, and this is their comeback attempt.
Everyone seems surprised at interacting with another human being in person. You wonder when it’ll happen to you.
"I'm a temporary fruiting body solely existing to propagate my species," you blurt.
Silence descends. You stare forlornly at your fusion taco, suddenly aware of how little fruiting you've been doing lately.
Like foot fungus reappearing, it happens slowly and then all at once.
Challenges we ran into
Thomas is the only person who understands what's going on.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Kartavya wrote an incredible story and there's 0 bugs at all in the interpreter :)
What we learned
48 hours is not very long
What's next for SUBROSA
