SubmaRogue

After months of reading newspaper clippings, you and
...your crew have finally arrived at the location of
...the mythical Atlantis.
A shark attack had devoured your friends.
You are undeterred. You grab a stick from the wreckage.
You descend in pursuit of the fabled treasure of Atlantis
...and vengeance against those who doubted your insanity.

Inspiration

We wanted to make a roguelike game.

What it does

It's a game.

How we built it

HTML/JS (es6) with roguelike graphics library rot.js

Git for version control

Challenges we ran into

  • Git was being a jerk at the end and not letting us push our changes
  • Forgetting this in javascript
  • Dependency hell

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It's a difficult but winnable game.

What we learned

Javascript

How to merge branches and use git in general

What's next for SubmaRogue

  • randomly generated weapons?
  • bug fixes
  • randomly generated dungeons
  • bug fixes
  • more levels/enemies/items
