Inspiration

We got inspired based off of personal experiences throughout our time in Waterloo and other regions looking for housing as well as stories shared from our friends and other students.

What it does

A platform that consolidates listings from multiple websites (i/e Facebook, Kijiji, UWaterloo Student Housing Service etc.) and allows users to narrow search using the following filters without creating an account.

How we built it

Utilizing our resources provided throughout Starterhacks, including web development 101 workshop and input from various mentors, to learn a new framework with no previous coding experience. By combining ideas and thorough research, we came about developing SubLoo.

Challenges we ran into

With no experience in C# and html, as well as .net frameworks, it took time, patience and communication to develop our idea into a website.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learning new skills in such short time. I.e. new coding languages; html, C#, .net frameworks

What we learned

We learnt teamwork skills and project management and development. we learnt new coding languages as well, html; c#; .net frameworks

What's next for SubLoo

The next steps for Subloo will be to expand out to further locations outside of the Waterloo region. As well as increasing the security of our website
