Finding subleasers can be a daunting task
What it does
Connect leasers with potential subleasers in Davis for students to more easily find affordable housing. Everybody wins.
How we built it
We utilized the MERN stack and created a dynamic React webapp that will generate based on database information and filters selected by users. AWS S3 was used to implement image storage (for uploading apartment images).
Challenges we ran into
Creating a React webpage with little experience required lots of trial and effort.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It was an ambitious project with real application (some of us have had to deal with subleasing).

Principles of MERN stack (MongoDB storage, S3 image storage, HTTP requests, React components and hooks)
What's next for Sublease
Pitching on shark tank. Okay seriously, complete all our integration ideas, location-based searching, gauge further interest and further requested features, improve user experience.
