Style4U

Inspiration I'm into fashion and shopping for clothes and as a result I have lots of clothes that I like to wear. A problem for me however is that I have items of clothes that I rewear after 1 use like jeans or clothes I only wore a few hours. This however makes it hard for me to keep track of what items I used and if they are clean or not.

What it does

The website lets you track how many times you wore an article of clothing and ai will look through each item and will a suggestion of washing that item with also steps on how to properly take care of it. There is also a section to group certain pieces of clothing into outfits that you wear a lot and lets you log the pieces as a group. There is also an ai stylist that helps you find what clothes your style fits in, styling tips with your clothes, and recommendations on what you can add next to your wardrobe.

Challenges we ran into

There were times when the ai didn't understand what I was trying to implement so I would have to figure out how to reword my prompt or go into the code itself to fix. There were also times when the debugging feature of the ai didn't work so I also had to go in and fix it myself.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of the ai assistant in the wardrobe, outfits, and stylist sections of my website as I think its cool that it can give styling and outfit advice and help give suggestions on when you should wash a certain article of clothing.
