Inspiration
Aha 1985 Take On Me video and Led Zeppelin!
What it does
Takes a live band performance in a rehearsal space, gives it a painterly look, upscales some part, and transforms the characters in the solo section
How we built it
3 gopros, 2 takes, Mago tools; short animated intro done with Meta; edited in Vegas
Challenges we ran into
Many trials and experiments to get the wanted look
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Really cool look! And the middle part transformations were added later, once I saw how easy it was to do them
What we learned
You can easily create productions with basic shots and “augment” them with AI for next to nothing (I paid 30$ for one month of use)
What's next for Style transfer in rock video
Probably more of them for other songs
