Background

Drawing on a rich background in specialized education and driven by a profound commitment to making learning accessible, we passionately developed this groundbreaking concept. Researching for Style has revealed the diverse needs of learners, inspiring us to create inclusive, adaptable learning environments. We aim to meet students where they are, offering the tailored resources of Style to support their unique educational journeys.

Style

Students can define their learning style through a series of questions. An AI assistant participates in selected assignments to understand how students learn and categorizes them as Type A, B, or C learners. Teachers answer questions to identify their teaching style. Students are then matched with teachers whose styles align with their own, facilitating better classroom dynamics.

Challenges We Ran Into

As this was most of our team's first hackathon, we weren't sure how to go about things initially, but we overcame it.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

We quickly learned that we had to adapt and optimize this technology into a real, feasible concept, and enjoyed the productivity and the learning process.

What We Learned

We learned how to spend a day creating and learning about AI and technology, along with learning about education and different learning/teaching styles.

What's Next for STYLE (Student-Tailored, Yielding Learning Experiences)

Next, we hope to implement and train an actual AI into STYLE to learn from us and hopefully be able to help real students grow.
