Inspiration

We are all day doing things. And we have tons of things to do. So when we were thinking about improving our uni life it just came along.

What it does

It allows you to set all kind of tasks that you have to do during your week. It will help you building an optimized schedule in order to do everything you want to!

How we built it

We used Flutter as a frontend and backend. That's all folks

Challenges we ran into

3 out of 4 of us didn't know Flutter 48 hours ago. Is that a challenge enough? Indeed we had those dozens of bugs and things that don't work as expected that you always have if you speedrun something.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We did it! We have an app that is good enough visually and is (almost) ready to be used in our own smartphones. The schedule optimizer is not much but it does what it need to do to fit all tasks in the day.

What we learned

To divide the work super well! Everyone got something to do all the time and we didn't repeat any work. We didn't know if we were gonna capable of doing so. And we learned Flutter!

What's next for iParent

We are happy with what we accomplished and we would want to end to make everything we did to work without any problem. Some small changes would make everything a lot better. We thought about including some lifehacks to it. It could suggest menus to you and we think that little things like this could be the app a must for any uni student!
