Inspiration

When I started learning web development, I wanted to make my own portfolio but I didn't had enough time, knowledge and resources. Later I noticed many students also face the same problem. So I decided to build StuFolio.

What it does

StuFolio helps students to create and share their own portfolio without building everything from starting.

How I built it

I built StuFolio using HTML, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, Supabase and Vercel. I used Supabase for authentication and storing portfolio data.

Challenges I ran into

The hardest part for me was the backend. Setting up Supabase, fetching data and connecting everything together gave me many bugs. I was fixing them one by one.

Accomplishments that I am proud of

I am proud that I was able to turn my idea into a working project and actually deploy it. I also learned many new things while building it.

What I learned

I learned Supabase, async/await, authentication, database operations and more about building real projects. I also learned a lot from the bugs I made.

What's next for StuFolio

I want to add more templates, improve the existing features and make it more useful for students.
