Inspiration
Labubu culture is dying, so I wanted to bring the chaos back by making different Labubu characters beef with each other. Even if the hype fades, the drama doesn’t have to.
What it does
It creates a playful world where multiple Labubus argue, compete, and show exaggerated personalities. The video turns cute character drama into fast-paced visual storytelling.
How I built it
I designed each Labubu with a distinct attitude and built scenes around expressive animation, comedic timing, and toy-like environments. The focus is on character-driven interactions.
Challenges I ran into
- Giving each Labubu a unique voice and personality
- Keeping their looks consistent
- Balancing chaos with clear visuals
- Managing multiple characters in the same scene
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I revived a fading trend by reimagining it through humor and character drama. Each Labubu feels distinct, and the world stays cohesive despite the chaos.
What I learned
I learned how to convey personality through small movements, pacing, and expressions. I also learned strategies for handling multi-character scenes effectively.
What's next for Stuff With Hate
I plan to expand the universe with more chaotic toy-world conflicts, more beef, and possibly a full series featuring Labubus fighting for the spotlight.
