Inspiration

Since there many students who tend to lose their motivation of studying quickly, I wondered if there’s a website that could support them by providing everything in one place. So, I created the studyWme. studyWme is a web that provides all study tools in one place to avoid procrastination among students.

What it does

Here at studyWme, there are 3 features that students can access to.

• The Courses feature: This feature let you learn anything from coding to politics. You can also use the search engine tool to search any courses you’d like to learn.
• The Study Lonely feature: This space is given for those who want to studying alone. There are three features that you can use: a) Todo list and pomodoro timer b) Songs c) Tracker to track how long you’ve been studying. You can also switch the background of your studying with the pictures that the website has provided.
• The Study Buddy feature: Here you can study together with your friend by using the video conference.

How I built it

I built the entire website using Figma and designed it myself

Challenges I ran into

At first, I wanted to code the entire website and added a 3D effect using three.js; however, considering the limited time, I decided to just submitted the design. But I did write the code for the main page.

Accomplishments that I was proud of

I’m proud that I finally able to create a study space with all study tools available in one website, which I hope could be the website students would reach into when they weren't motivated.

What I learned

Throughout the process, I found it hard to do the design and write the code without proper project planner in which I'll do it for the future hackathon.

What's next for studyWme

For the future studyWme, I’ll try to write the code and develop it along the way as I want the website to be published and get used by others. I also will change the design and add more features, such as Ask Question to help students who struggling with hard/intrigue questions.
