We built StudyVerse using a frontend + backend AI architecture, rather than exposing the AI API directly in the client.

💻 Frontend

The StudyVerse frontend provides the main interactive learning experience, allowing students to navigate learning resources, search topics, interact with the AI assistant, and practice through different study modes.

⚙️ Backend

A separate backend handles AI requests and acts as a secure bridge between the frontend and the AI service.

This architecture keeps the AI integration separate from the client-side application and makes the system easier to maintain and scale.

🤖 AI Layer

StudyVerse uses the Groq API with Llama 3.1 8B Instant to power its conversational AI experience.

The AI layer is designed to support contextual conversations, follow-up questions, explanations, practice generation, and study assistance.
