Inspiration

The idea for StudySync AI came from my personal experience as a student. I often struggled to manage my time across multiple subjects, exams, and revisions. Fixed timetables never worked for me because they did not adapt when plans changed. I realized that many students face the same problem, which inspired me to create a smarter and more flexible solution.

What it does

StudySync AI is a smart timetable and study planner that creates personalized study schedules. It uses syllabus details, exam dates, available study hours, and productive time slots to generate an adaptive timetable that updates as the student progresses.

How we built it

The project was designed as a web-based application using React for the user interface. The logic behind the planner is rule-based AI that prioritizes subjects, adjusts schedules, and tracks progress. The focus was on simplicity, usability, and real-life practicality.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge was designing a system that could adjust the timetable dynamically without becoming too complex. Another challenge was deciding how to balance difficult and easy topics while keeping the schedule realistic and achievable for students.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We successfully designed a system that is both personalized and adaptive. The project solves a real problem faced by students and combines planning, tracking, and motivation into one simple platform.

What we learned

Through this project, we learned about user-centered problem solving, basic web development using React, and how AI logic can be applied to everyday challenges. We also learned the importance of designing practical and flexible solutions.

What's next for StudySync AI

In the future, we plan to add smart notifications, calendar integration, and motivational features. We also aim to improve personalization by analyzing long-term study patterns and making the planner even more supportive for students.
