Inspiration

Sometimes as students we would look for a place for a team meeting, and we would end up wasting an hour finding a place.

What it does

Tracks the congestion levels around campus, and provides this information in an intuitive way.

How we built it

Using Claude

Challenges we ran into

Changing the user interface and the way the map looked. Implementing real world data and tracking using WIFI connection numbers and past history.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

There is an AI chatbot which the user can ask various questions like what is the best study spot with chargers.

What we learned

AI tools are great for visualising an idea for a project quickly, which is ideal for Hackathons.

What's next for StudySpot

Collaborate with TCD sense map, in order to have everything in one place, and to have a more feature rich map.
