Inspiration

Modern students often spend more time organizing and rewriting content than actually understanding it. Most existing tools act as static storage rather than adapting to how students revise, practice, and resolve doubts.
This motivated us to create a platform that actively supports the learning process, instead of passively holding study materials.

What the Project Does

StudySphere AI offers a unified study workspace where students can:

  • Upload study materials such as PDFs and notes
  • Receive structured summaries and smart notes
  • Practice using AI-generated quizzes
  • Interact with an AI assistant for doubt-solving
  • Track learning progress to improve revision efficiency

The goal is to make studying faster, clearer, and more effective.

How We Built It

The project was developed using a modern web stack to ensure performance and scalability:

Frontend:React, TypeScript, Vite
AI Integration:Gemini API for document understanding, summarization, quiz generation, and conversational assistance
Architecture:Modular design to support future feature expansion

This approach allowed us to maintain a clean UI while handling complex AI-driven workflows.

Challenges We Faced

Some key challenges during development included:

  • Ensuring AI-generated content remained accurate and concise
  • Designing an interface that simplifies complex AI processes
  • Maintaining performance while processing multiple documents efficiently
Addressing these challenges required careful prompt design and thoughtful UI decisions.

What We Learned

This project helped us understand how to build AI-driven learning tools that prioritize usability and real educational impact.
We gained hands-on experience in integrating large language models into real-world applications while balancing automation, clarity, and user control.
